200 Sample Ave. A door with no sign, a bell, and four leather chairs.

A barbershop for men who don’t like waiting, small talk on cue, or a television over the mirror.
Every appointment at Blackline is one barber and one client, start to finish. Nobody gets double-booked, there’s no queue by the door, and no one sweeps around your feet while you’re still in the chair.
The towels come out of a steamer, not a microwave. Every neck is finished with a straight razor. Coffee is pulled to order, and after five there’s something stronger. We play records, quietly.
It isn’t complicated. It’s just rarely done properly.
“Nobody in here watches the clock. That’s our job.”

The Barbers
Four people, four chairs. Pick by specialty, or let us pair you.
Leather, chrome, dark wood. Lit low, like a hotel bar at six.

Fig. VIThe back room
No ring light. No neon. No playlist you didn’t choose.
Each station has its own basin, so you’re never walked across the room with wet hair. The chairs recline flat for shaves, and the lighting is set for cutting, not for photos.
